I skipped over most of the beginning chapters and went straight for the reviews, and it hadn't really sunk in there might be a conflict of interest until I was convinced I'd found a worthy source of information. There are honestly only a few in each section that I would know for sure I like, mostly because I have already tried them before.The book was more for the information about which foods fit into which categories; either the clean eating or the metabolism boosting. However many cleanses that I have read about sound downright scary and dangerous. I work with adolescents and many of them have addiction issues. is a terrible sensitizer because it is a formaldehyde DONOR thus allowing the manufacturer to claim a formaldehyde free product, yet have reactions in the hapless helpless customer from, you guessed it - FORMALDEHYDE! In the case of lavender she warns this common irritant isn't soothing to your skin AT ALL, despiteAll academic levels/libraries."
