So I would never finish the book.It's great to hear Robyn's side of the story (which I find parts to relate to) and then Espra puts it in context of recovery and healing.I thought the concept of the book was interesting so I wanted to check it out - but I thought it was just going to be so I could suggest it to others who are still suffering in the disorder.But guess what? I am getting a ton out of it.It is reinforcing the 9 years of recovery that I have had from an eating disorder in ways I could never have imagined.By page 43 I discovered that I have had unrealistic ideals around what recovery 'should' look like.They busted that image and I truly know a new freedom and pride.I love the inclusion of the words "most of the time" when they describe what a healthy relationship with food/body looks like - wow - my recovery needed to hear that!!!This book has the power to help a lot of people - no matter where they are in the recovery process.I thank Robyn and Espra for sharing their truth and experience so honestly.. awesome reminder of how terrible my life was Thank you David Eugene.
