I am fairly well versed now in 3D, but I still reference the book almost weekly.I recommend this book to anyone who doesn't have time for courses and understands 2D construction.. In his scholarly research laid out in readable prose, Miller ably recounts the life of a man who saw education as the way out of ignorance and poverty in his early dedication to the one-room schoolhouse and the students and teachers who would thrive there. The Fish That Ate The Whale is sensational. Miller has given a gift to Kansans and historians in resurrecting the story of "Yankee on the Prairie" Howard R. Eventually, he carried his passion for books West to the Kansas frontier. He deftly mkixes scholarship with conversational tone. Cohen hit a home run with this biography. Had this book arrived with the lesson support CD unbroken it would have been much more helpful. The book's instuctional lessons are well done, but as one might expect, have some visual support for the drawing lessons would have been nice.. I have not 'tested' the MATLAB codes. I bought this book with little 3D experience, hoping it would help guide me. I highly recommend it.. "YA supplementary toolbox in MATLAB is employed in order to minimize the need for advanced mathematics. Discussions of passive LC filters with lumped elements and passive filters with distributed elements are also included. The author also includes a wealth of solved examples as well as end of chapter problems for both students and instructors.. Other topics covered are basic circuit elements and their descriptions, first- and second-order sections using single and multiple amplifiers, coupled forms and signal scaling, and various methods for immitance simulation among others. Analog Filters Using MATLAB can be used both at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as for industrial designs. The material covers the synthesis and design of classical passive filters with both lumped and distributed circuit elements, and active filters based on operational amplifiers, transconductors, and current conveyors. From the Back CoverAnalog Filters Using MATLAB provides a comprehensive overviCoverage includes the synthesis of analog filters and many other filter types including passive filters and filters with distributed elements.. This textbook provides a complete introduction to analog filters for senior undergraduate and graduate students
